May 2019 IKNS IB Results

Congratulations to the Class of 2019 for the excellent IB results in the May 2019 examination session. We are proud of the 27 students who successfully passed all the requirements and obtained the IB Diploma. We are also proud of the students who challenged themselves and sat for some IB courses. 88 students were registered for this examination session and it is pleasing to see the majority of IKNS graduates awarded an IB certificate this session - we trust this has helped prepare them for their university studies. Special congratulations go to Salman Dhaif for achieving the distinguished score of 40 points, and the seven students who achieved adistinguished Diploma score between 34 and 40 points. The average Diploma score was 32 points this session, which is higher than the May 2018 average score of 31 points. The average subject grade obtained by Diploma students was a pleasing 5.19 (out of 7). The pass rate was90%, with three students being short of one diploma point. There were some inspiring achievements by students who worked conscientiously in the last few months and improved on their predicted grades. Well done to the Class of 2019!
