May 2014 IKNS IB Results
Congratulations to the 51 students who participated in the May 2014 IB examinations. The results were extremely pleasing this session.
All thirty-three students who sat for the diploma obtained the distinguished bilingual diploma, achieving a 100% diploma pass rate. The mean diploma point score was a solid 33 points this year, which was significantly higher than the world average of 29.81 points and also higher than the May 2013 mean IKNS diploma score of 32 points.
We are very proud of all of the students who worked conscientiously to satisfy the rigorous requirements of the IB diploma. The highest score was an outstanding 41 diploma points achieved by Noor Al Hashimi. Eleven students obtained diploma scores in the distinguished range of 34-45 points.
Eighteen other IKNS students obtained certificates in one or more IB subjects, achieving very good grades. The average grade obtained by all IKNS candidates (diploma and certificate) was 5.2 (out of a maximum of 7).
