Global Goals Project-2021

Ibn Khuldoon National school has taken part in the "Global Goals Project-2021" to address the 17 UN Sustainability Goals. This project connects over 3600 classrooms globally with an international PADLET platform to share and reflect the work of students.

Grade 6 students wrote scripts and recorded a video to create awareness about the following topics: healthy mind and Body, cyber bullying, following guidelines to combat Covid-19 pandemic, appreciation of jobs, and climate change.

The videos were further shared with the elementary students to create awareness.

Students of Grade 7 created an educational video related to one of the renewable or non-renewable energy sources in the style of a Bill Nye type show. The video includes humour, facts, explanations of big concepts explored, props, different settings to create awareness amongst people about conserving the environment.

Grade 8 students synthesized the knowledge that they have gained to create a short story for children between 6-8 years old about a natural disaster that happened in a specific place to create awareness.
