Nov 13, 2019"Let Your Love Bloom for Charity", a wonderful fundraising initiative organized by our PTSA during the month of October. This initiative was aimed at raising funds for "Think Pink", a non-profit Bahrain-based organization that supports cancer awareness, education and research.
Our IB Art students and teachers painted three beautiful trees where ribbon and flower stickers were displayed after being bought by our students. It was exciting to watch our trees bloom over the course of two weeks, and have really filled us with pride.
Our teachers and students also carried out various activities to raise funds towards this cause such as; bake sales, a no-uniform day, sticker sale and think pink merchandise sale.
With our collaborative efforts, the IKNS community was able to raise BD3,000 which was presented to representatives of the Bahrain Breast Cancer Society (Think Pink).
