Class of 2017 Graduation Ceremony
HRH The Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa deputised the Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa to attend the graduation ceremony of the 26th batch of Ibn Khuldoon National School, with the presence of senior members of the Royal Family, senior officials, students' parents and respectful guests.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Alumni Speaker from the Class of 2005 gave a heartfelt speech where he thanked parents and faculty members for guiding our students throughout their 14-year journey. He emphasized on the importance of creating a new support system, and encouraged our students to experience a new way of life and develop a vision of what they wish to become in the future.
Mr. Adel Abdulla Fakhro, Chair of the Board of Trustees, delivered the School’s speech, welcoming esteemed guests and thanking HRH The Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for his patronage, and deputy Premier HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. Mr. Fakhro highlighted the schools’ numerous achievements throughout the year reflecting the schools’ philosophy and values.
On behalf of the student body, speeches were presented by Fahad Al Khaja (Chair of the Student Congress), Lulwa Mohammed Al Khalifa (Class of 2017 Valedictorian), and Farooq Al Khaja (Elected by the Class of 2017).
Following the speeches, diplomas were presented to our 116 graduates by Dr. Kamal Abdel-Nour, School President.
On this special occasion, Shaikh Ali conveyed the congratulations of HRH the Prime Minister to the graduates and their families wishing them all the success in their future endeavors.
